After the Russian Center for Science and Culture building in Nicosia, Cyprus caught fire, someone hung a huge Ukrainian flag in front of it. This was reported to Zvezda by the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Yevgeny Primakov. According to him, now that the camera recordings have been handed over to the police, the journalist regards the incident as a terrorist attack.
“The cameras and the hard drive are with the police. We believe this is a terrorist attack. There were several bottles (with a Molotov cocktail – editor’s note), there are already eyewitnesses ready to testify. A big detail – in one of the houses opposite someone hung a large Ukrainian flag. We have no doubt who is doing this. This has never happened before, although a woman threw herself at our compatriot with a knife,” the journalist said.
Recall that the construction of the Russian Center for Science and Culture broke out in the Cypriot capital. Arson is also not excluded – according to eyewitnesses, a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the building. The fire is out for now.
