CNN glorified the experience of Qatari photographer Azzam Al-Mannai in documenting concentrations of whale sharks in Qatar, which Qatar is unique in having one of the largest such gatherings in the world.
CNN shared a video clip of the photographer Al-Mannai, in which he monitored an eye-catching aerial scene, showing the fishes of three whale sharks, swimming in amazing harmony in the waters of Qatar, as Al-Mannai was able to monitor this moment at the right time and place, before a fourth whale shark interrupted its path. He came to join the group.
Since 2020, Al-Mannai has begun to monitor concentrations of whale sharks in Qatar, which the country witnesses between May and September of each year.
According to CNN, Al-Mannai seeks, by documenting these gatherings of whale sharks, to share them with the world so that everyone can witness such a majestic sight in Qatar, as he considers that there is a lack of Arab documentaries in the production of documentary material in the Arab region that sheds light on wildlife and the sea world.
Al-Mannai tells the network: "I wanted to take the opportunity to share this documentation with the world through my humble lens. whether from the air or underwater"explaining that this scene of the three whale sharks is only part of a group that may reach, at its peak, about 250 whale sharks.
Al-Mannai recalls that this group seemed harmonious in making its way through the waters of Qatar in a very harmonious manner, which prompted him to transfer the scene from above in the best possible way.
Qatar is unique in having one of the largest concentrations of whale sharks in the world, according to the website "Qatar nature"which makes it a unique destination for marine life lovers, as they will be able to see many whale sharks in one day.
Whale sharks sail in the warm and shallow sea waters of the northern coasts of Qatar, about 145 km from the shores of the capital, Doha, and can appear in flocks of about 100 to 150 fish at a time, according to the website. "Discover Qatar".
