The US military has announced the suspension of air flights after the death of 12 people in a helicopter crash. This is reported by RIA Novostireferring to the official statement of the troops.
According to published information, pilots in the ranks of the US armed forces will not be allowed to fly until they successfully complete the mandatory training. At the same time, this measure does not apply to pilots involved in “critical missions”.
Army Chief of Staff James McConville explained that during the period of suspension of flights, management intends to ensure that pilots and other crew members receive “the knowledge, training and awareness necessary to perform their tasks safely”.
Earlier, an ambulance helicopter crashed in the Volgograd region. The pilot died as a result of the accident.
