“We have decided to introduce a ban on the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles in the city of Moscow from today, except for drones used by decisions of state authorities,” Sobyanin wrote. .
The decision was made to prevent the unauthorized use of drones, which could hamper the work of law enforcement, the mayor explained.
“I remind you that the unauthorized launch of a drone is a crime and entails administrative and criminal liability,” Sobyanin concluded.
Prior Court in Moscow stopped two Ukrainian citizens who launched a drone in the courtyard of a house on Admiral Ushakov Boulevard. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against them for using forgery. The detainees are two brothers from the Kherson region, in their passports they have fake registration and residence permit stamps. The drone has been sent for examination.
At the end of April, several drones fell in the Moscow region. One of the aircraft turned out to be a Ukrainian-made UJ-22 Airborn. Inside the drone they found about 30 briquettes weighing 570 grams with an explosive inside.
