Camilla, 75, divorced from her first husband, is Charles’ second wife, after Princess Diana, whom he divorced in 1996.
The King and his wife arrived from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey in the modern black Diamond Jubilee carriage, accompanied by knights in shining armor and feathered hats.
Camilla, Charles’ queen consort, wore a used crown, as Buckingham Palace said she would wear Queen Mary’s crown during the coronation ceremony, to avoid placing the diamond crown “Koh- i-Noor”, which India demands to recover.
