Nutritionist Dekker lists some ways to reduce heartburn

– Published on:

Nutritionist Olga Dekker has identified foods that can help reduce the symptoms of heartburn and other digestive problems.

The doctor recommends eating foods that help fight heartburn, such as coconut oil. The caprylic acid it contains will reduce the amount of bad bacteria in your stomach and relieve the symptoms of indigestion or reflux disease.

Coriander and apple cider vinegar are antioxidants, and garlic has long been known for its ability to prevent inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as reduce the symptoms of heartburn.

Decker notes that a good spice to combat nausea is ginger root. It is good to snack on high-fiber foods, such as sauerkraut. Turmeric can also help with heartburn as it has anti-inflammatory properties.

The nutritionist advised adding mineral water with a high concentration of magnesium and calcium to the diet, writes Tula Press .
