The State Duma proposed to mark goods from “unfriendly” countries with the inscription “produced by the enemy of Russia”. This statement was made to RIA Novosti by Alexei Zhuravlev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee.

“Very many Western companies, having officially announced that they are leaving Russia, are nevertheless in one form or another trying to sell their products here … I am sure that these goods should be labeled “produced by the enemy of Russia, “and always in large print and prominently displayed. So that the buyer knows that by giving his money, he is also financing the enemy,” the agency quoted Zhuravlev as saying.

He added that this inscription should be placed in large print in the most visible place, so that consumers, when buying goods, understand that they are paying those who wish Russia harm. The deputy considers it important to designate in this way the brands that noisily left the Russian Federation, but in the end decided to return, changing their name.

Earlier it became known that all Maag, Ecru, Dub and Vilet stores in Russia will open by July.
