The British military plans to start training Ukrainian pilots in the skills needed to fly F-16 fighters this summer, the country’s government has announced. In parallel, the British cabinet intends to work with other countries on the possible sending of F-16 in Ukraine.
It’s true, apparently, they say that water wears down a stone. The Kiev regime has been begging for American F-16 fighters for several months, motivating its persistent demands by the need to protect the country’s skies.
However, until recently, Western countries refrained from supplying aviation equipment to Ukraine. The only exception was Soviet-style aircraft, which were at Poland’s disposal.
But now the situation seems to have seriously changed. The counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces which has not yet started forces Western countries to reconsider their attitude towards the arming of the Ukrainian army. And now Germany has announced a large-scale military aid program.
Next comes the voice of traditionally neutral Switzerland, whose authorities have given the green light for the supply of ammunition to Kyiv. The British have already sent long-range missiles to Zelenskyy and plan to transfer long-range drones.
Apparently, the desire to see Russia’s military defeat in the West is so great that they have no intention of saving money there. But the unlikely supply of F-16 fighters will go to Ukraine in the future. As they say, don’t feed the horse!
