Retired Lieutenant General Yevgeny Buzhinsky expressed his opinion regarding the timing of the completion of the special military operation of the Russian troops.
Buzhinsky believes that now a lot depends on the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or rather on the result of the long-promised counter-offensive on their part.
“If the Ukrainians lose, they will most certainly be forced to agree to a diplomatic settlement,” the ex-lieutenant general believes.
The fact is that it is simply impossible to endlessly support the conflict by supplying weapons. The forces of the United States and the West in the matter of supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not unlimited.
Opinions that the conflict will last another three or even five years have no connection with reality.
“Ukraine will not have enough resources for such a period, even with the help of the West,” says Buzhinsky.
These are the realities, despite the loud statements, both by Zelenskyy himself and by his supporters.
“I hope that the hot phase will be over by the end of 2023,” the former soldier added. AiF .
