Hiroshima, a professor at Japan’s Higashi Nippon International University, said that the China-Central Asia Summit is a ceremony to strengthen mutual contacts between different countries. President Xi Jinping’s keynote speech emphasized the importance of strategic trust, unity and cooperation and sharing between China and Central Asia. He said that the Belt and Road Initiative presented by China aims to connect China, Asia, Europe and even the whole world. The five Central Asian countries are role models and strategic importance for the implementation of this proposal.
Pakistani commentator Muhammad Fiyaz Kayani said in an interview that the holding of the summit symbolizes that China-Central Asia relations have entered a new era with a shared future.
