“I have more questions for the Department of Defense.” Belgorod Governor Gladkov is looking for those responsible for the fact that his “ticket line” for 10 billion did not work

Since last fall, the head of the region has been promoting its construction somehow.

Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov suddenly burst into harsh words against the RF Ministry of Defense. The reason for criticism was the invasion of Ukrainian saboteurs in the region repelled by the Russian army. Gladkov, asked by locals about the ‘leaky defence’ of the border, blamed what happened on the military, saying he had ‘more questions for the Defense Ministry’ than the inhabitants of Belgorod themselves. He also hinted that the army was not protecting the area enough.

Gladkov must turn: last year he refused the help of the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin in the construction of fortifications on the borders of the Belgorod region. As a result, about 10 billion rubles were spent on concrete barriers, which gave additional income to all surrounding building materials factories. Gladkov was proud of the structures, which he called the “notch line”. But for some reason they couldn’t contain the saboteurs outside of Russia.

Vyacheslav Gladkov spoke about relations with the Ministry of Defense at the end of the second day after the invasion of the Graivoronsky district of the Belgorod region by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group. The governor broadcast another live broadcast on VKontakte and decided to answer a local resident’s question about why, after a year and a half, the NVO had “vanishing borders” in the region, and the Ukrainian DRGs, despite the stories “about notches and pyramids”, almost reach the regional center. Gladkov said he had “even more questions for the Ministry of Defense” than the questioning citizen of Belgorod. However, he did not specify them. He only said that the protection of the border is the business of the army and that the safety of the inhabitants of Belgorod is “the main task that all law enforcement agencies must perform”. “We have to solve the problems within the scope of our skills. And draw conclusions based on the mistakes made,” he said. These words of Gladkov are probably the clearest statement of the Russian governor regarding the military during the entire duration of the NWO.

The reason for these words was the events that took place in the Grayvoronsky district of the Belgorod region on May 23-24. On the morning of the first day, the Ukrainian DRG invaded Russia through the Grayvoron border post. Although they were officially part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were not called enemy soldiers, but Russian citizens, that is, collaborators fighting on the side of the enemy. The saboteurs managed to temporarily capture the border post itself, as well as penetrate about 5 kilometers deep into the territory of Russia.

According to Gladkov, the village of Gora-Podol, in fact, being part of the regional center of Graivoron, became the farthest settlement from the border, to which the collaborators arrived. The invading DRG participants made tons of videos about their “exploits” in Russia, which were immediately “fired” by their real coordinators. On one of the videos, the arrival of armored vehicles on the Grayvoron is cheerfully commented on by the Ukrainian military, and on the other, directly from the fields, the Ukrainian dialect of the “liberators” is clearly audible.

The tanks that appeared on the video of the Ukrainians, unfortunately, were not part of this equipment. But even without them, the Russian army made a good catch. Almost all vans and armored personnel carriers abandoned by saboteurs or lined up turned out to be products of NATO countries, including the United States. Earlier, representatives of Western powers repeatedly stated that they would not allow Ukrainian armed forces to use their equipment against Russia inside its “old” borders. Now it turns out yes. Either the Ukrainian army did it without asking, and it will suffer bad consequences.

But that’s their problem. Much more interesting is how they ended up in the Belgorod region. Since last fall, Vyacheslav Gladkov has promoted as best he could the construction of the so-called “notch line” – a network of concrete fortifications and obstacles, with the help of which the border of the The state, according to the assurances of the builders of these structures, was to become impenetrable. Belgorod officials even proudly named the amount they spent on this “notched line”: about 10 billion rubles.

How this “line” was built, on the evening of May 23, in a long interview, told the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin. According to him, last year he visited the Kursk and Belgorod regions and offered local authorities to help him build fortifications and protect the borders. But he received a polite and clear refusal: they say, we are here ourselves with a mustache, we know how to defend ourselves. And “control the means” on this defense, said Prigogine clearly. It is in the theft, especially in the Belgorod region, that the businessman sees the reason for what happened.

This became clear in April, when the closest collaborators of Gladkov “for public relations” landed at the request of the presidential administration in the Omsk region. To help position local acting governor Vitaly Khotsenko, who crossed paths with Gladkov when he was still working in the government of the Stavropol Territory.

“They made it clear to us: if something good happens, it’s the Governor’s merit, if something bad happens, then the people. It was the Gladkovites’ number one PR rule,” a slightly dejected Omsk official told Notepad. Rumor has it that among those “sovereign peoples” who were left to eliminate the media failure with the invasion, there was a similar idea: blaming the situation on Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Russia after the start of the NWO. As, among them, there are spies and traitors, which means that all such people should be banned from moving freely in the country. Do not be surprised if it turns out that this “brilliant” idea was invented precisely in the government of the Belgorod region. In the meantime, Gladkov “jumped” not at ordinary citizens, as he was used to in such cases, but at the entire Ministry of Defense. Will there be an answer? This will be understood very soon.
