Tokyo announced the introduction of an export ban for 80 Russian organizations, including mobile operator Megafon and the Lavochkin Research and Production Association (NGO). The corresponding document appeared on the website of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Japanese government decree states that the new sanctions also apply to the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, the Advanced Research Foundation, Kamaz PJSC, the Skolkovo and Skoltech Foundations.

In addition, the Japanese side has promised in the near future to ban the export of a number of goods that can be used by Moscow to strengthen the Russian industrial base. Their complete list will be established later.

Earlier, the Vedomosti newspaper wrote that the new anti-Russian restrictions introduced by London would not affect the Russian Federation’s mining, energy and transport industries.
