The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, expressed her belief that Ukraine and the United States do not care about the starving people in Africa. This is stated in his statement on the agency’s website.
She explained that Russia has to fight to include bulk carriers bound for Africa in the Black Sea Initiative, while Ukraine only thinks for its own benefit and insists on registering bigger vessels.
Zakharova also noted that Kyiv was not interested in supplying Africa with ammonia, which is needed for the production of fertilizers. Russia is ready to launch the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline in the near future.
“Knowing such a real situation, it becomes clear that Kiev, with the full support of Washington and its satellites, does not put a penny on the interests of ensuring food security and combating hunger in Africa,” summarized the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. .
Earlier, Zakharova said Washington fears the United States will be recognized as an active participant in the Ukraine crisis. According to her, the States try to hide their role in the conflict.
