China considers the overall development of rural areas important for modernization

– Published on:

China, the world’s second largest economy, has achieved great success in the field of poverty alleviation. Obviously, the Chinese government has not only focused on big cities and towns for this, but has also kept a special eye on rural areas. As a result of this, we have seen that there has been a lot of improvement in the condition of the villages, there has been a vast change in the lives of the villagers.
However, there are still some areas where improvement is needed. This is the reason why from time to time the relevant ministries of China issue plans. This includes modernization of rural areas. On the other hand, the youth who have studied in the cities are making important contribution in the development of agriculture and rural affairs by going to the villages. He himself is learning a lot while working at the grassroots level. Which can play an important role in making China a modern socialist country.
It is said that since 2004, agriculture and rural sector in China is being included in the agenda of the government’s central document. In this, all the important works related to farmers and villages are included in the main list. Not only this, the Chinese government has set a target of making the country a modern socialist country by the year 2050. Under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping, serious work is being done in this direction. But it is said again and again that the most difficult task in making China a modern socialist country lies in the rural areas. In such a situation, the need to pay special attention to the development works of the villages is being felt.
According to the guidelines issued by the government, the focus is on advancing rural development, construction and administration, and accelerating China’s transformation into a global agricultural superpower. Along with this, a call has also been given to make rural areas more harmonious and beautiful places to live and work. Chinese President and CPC General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the Annual Central Rural Work Conference a few months ago that socialist modernization cannot be accomplished without agricultural and rural modernization.
It is clear from the continuous efforts being made by the Chinese government and the Communist Party that they consider the contribution of villages and villagers very important in taking the country forward. While on various occasions extensive efforts are being made to improve the condition of the villages and to connect the villagers with their land. It should be expected that the way China has focused on the development of metropolitan cities, the same emphasis will be laid on the development of backward and remote areas.
