Increasing morale of criminals

– Published on:

The murder of a minor girl witness in Delhi is not a case of a normal law and order crisis. This incident is not such that a promi killed a promika by stabbing her with a knife and thrashing her head with stones. This murder case is such a murder done under a well-thought-out conspiracy in which the killer wore Kalava in his hand, Rudraksh garland around his neck and named Hindu i.e. Rahul to hide his identity. This means that the killer Sahil Khan knew that if Sakshi knew about his reality, she would not have any relation with him. The fact whether Sahil did this on his own or was inspired to do so by some religious group would be known only after a thorough probe into the fraudulent relationship.

If a conspiracy was hatched by a religious group, then its truth would also come to the fore, but it is surprising that a criminal was openly attacking a girl with knives and stones on the side of the road where people were passing. But no one raised the courage to make any noise, nor did he understand the need to inform the police. It is not that the beat constable of the police would not have been aware of Sakshi’s case. According to the information, a few days ago the local bully Bablu had given a threatening warning to Sahil Khan that he should not disturb the girl. The informers of the locality keep giving such small things to the beat constable. But the police themselves do not take these incidents seriously because only family members hide such things. For the sake of their respect in the society, the family members do not take initiative to take such things to the police.

Even the policemen don’t consider the minor incident as justification for taking any action on their own. The truth is that the Delhi Police is a very professional police, but the way it should get cooperation from the society, it does not get it at all. The one who wants to kill someone, he will definitely do it, the role of the police is to investigate the matter, catch the accused and hand him over to the law and actively and systematically follow in the court to get him punished. If there is a deficiency in the investigation of the police, then it can be accused of negligence. The courts also keep warning the police to pro-actively investigate the matter.

But if the society does not discharge its duties, then the police will be unable to fulfill the expectations of the society. The society itself should realize its duties. Courts also need to toughen up their behavior towards criminals so that they feel fear of law before committing crimes. (sp)
