Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the averted terrorist attack on residents of Shebekino, Belgorod region. According to the military department, on the night of June 1, Ukrainian formations tried to cross the border using equipment near the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka and the Shebekino automobile checkpoint. The Ministry of Defense said the military repelled all attacks, resulting in the deaths of more than 30 attackers.

On the morning of June 1, Russian military telegram channels and military correspondents reported an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cross the Russian border in the Belgorod region using a tank, aircraft and equipment engineering.
