The concept of secular state is just an illusion

No one can imagine that a country with a population of 140 crores has been trapped in the trap of the word ‘secularism’ for more than 70 years. Political groups with opposing beliefs have united under the banner of ‘secularism’. Many political parties use ‘secularism’ as a trump card to win elections and rule against religion. The political party following the religion is severely criticized. All kinds of methods are used to defeat him. This is happening in a country where a ten thousand year old tradition of political life establishes justice and equality for all, as seen in Ramrajya.

Dharma, according to Swami Vivekananda, is the core of India. People were misled into believing that religion means religion. There was never a moment in the history of India where religion dominated the state government as was the case in European countries in the middle of the present millennium and is still the case today. People are well aware of the meaning of dharma as they have been living through ages with meanings like putra-dharma (duty of son), patni-dharma (duty of wife) and raj dharma (duty of government). Leaders of many political parties, though accept the misconception of the word ‘secularism’, are misleading people for their personal gains. harming the society and the nation.

Today the term ‘secular state’ is used in contrast to a religion based state. The use of the term is simply a copy of the Western thought system. We didn’t need to bring it to India. To differentiate it from Pakistan, we termed it as a ‘secular state’. This is causing wrong thinking. Religion was equated with religion and a ‘secular state’ was defined as a state devoid of religion. Western countries do not believe in ‘secularism’ themselves and the country which believes in it is moving towards destruction. Losing its ideology and culture. A large number of missionaries are working ruthlessly all over the world to poison the minds of people and convert them to Christianity. Missionaries, their NGOs and followers create wrong narratives and accuse Hindus of being ill-informed in the name of so-called ‘secularism’.

The question is, is it really possible to think of ‘secularism’ in Islamic countries? Hindus in India, in particular, are constantly on the target of such conversion mafia. These people are trying to weaken the vast Sanatan culture. Are the lives of those who have been poisoned converted, nourished, prosperous and happy. The answer is no. Rather, life has become more miserable, stressful and violent. Large scale conversions have taken place in many African countries, Iran, Sri Lanka, mainly in the North Eastern part of India. Yet their social and economic condition remains grave. Violent means are being resorted to for basic needs.

The scenario in the North-Eastern states before 2014 has been very scary. Things have changed ever since the Modi government came to the centre. Actually conversion divides and destroys. Religion unites and uplifts. The so-called secular cannot understand this. Today this bogus concept of secularism is not only ruining many families at the social and economic level, but is taking support of terrorist organizations and their supporters to spread the ideology that rejects humanity and human values.

Religion is the polar opposite and way of life. It should be followed by everyone for a better and more peaceful society. The Hindu faith, also known as Sanatan, is a dharma, not a religion. If a nation wants to be morally prosperous in all aspects of life, it has to deeply follow Dharma. This will lead to the rise of a great nation and ultimately a better world. The philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay removes the misconceptions of secularism. His philosophy provides guidance for the development of humanity with human values. He says- ‘Some gave the name of our (Nidharma – without religion) state, while others in search of a better sounding name called it (secularism – indifferent to religion) state. But all these claims are essentially wrong. For a state cannot exist without dharma or be indifferent to dharma, just as a fire cannot exist without heat. When fire loses its heat, it is no longer fire. A state which exists primarily to maintain religion, law and order cannot be irreligious or secular. If there is unrighteousness then there will be anarchic state and if there is unrighteousness then where is the question of existence of any state? In other words, the concept of secularism (indifference to religion) and the state are self-contradictory. The state can only be (Dharma Rajya-Rule of Dharma) and nothing else. Any other definition would go against the basic objective of the state.’

Religion is not always associated with the majority. Dharma is eternal. Consequently, under the definition of a democracy, simply saying that it is a government of the people is insufficient. It should also be for the benefit of the people. Only religion has the right to decide. Consequently, a democratic government, or ‘people’s state’, must also run on dharma, or ‘dharma rajya’ i.e. in the definition of ‘democracy’. ‘Government of the people, by the people and for the people’, ‘of’ stands for liberty, ‘by’ stands for democracy, and ‘for’ indicates religion. That’s why true democracy is where there is freedom as well as freedom of religion.

There is not a single feeling in our country which is not related to religion. As a result, we believe that our state cannot abandon Dharma. In our opinion, a secular state does not mean a state devoid of religion. In this country, dharma refers to a belief, and those who follow it are referred to as sects, such as Jains, Shaivites, and Christians. Of course, the state cannot be a part of any of these sects. It should investigate everything objectively. As a result, we can argue that a state is non-communal. This would be ideal, but such a situation, even if it is not biased towards one sect or against the other, may favor ways and means to achieve both material and spiritual advancement, and hence may be known as Dharma Rajya. goes.

The West saw a complete separation of religion and state. It is said in the Bible- ‘Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and what is God’s, give to God’. However, Pandit Deen Dayalji saw dharma not as a religion but as the eternal law which should encompass everything including statecraft. According to Pandit Nehru, democracy was the biggest gift of Europe. However, luminaries like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Pandit Deen Dayal saw democracy as an obvious choice for India.

On November 25, 1949, Ambedkar reminded the Constituent Assembly that democracy was not new to India. He had said- ‘It is not that India did not know what democracy is. There was a time when India could be seen as a democracy, and where monarchies did exist, they were either elected or limited. They were never unconstitutional. It is not that India was unfamiliar with parliaments or parliamentary procedure. A study of Buddhist monastic unions shows that not only were there no parliaments (by sanghas meant nothing more than parliaments), but the sanghas also knew and followed all the rules of parliamentary procedure that are known in modern times . They had rules for seating arrangement, motion, resolution, quorum, whip, counting of votes, ballot voting, censure motion, regularization etc. Although the Buddha applied these norms of parliamentary procedure to the Sangha meetings, he must have taken them from the ancient monarchy.’ So the time has come to recognize this fake ‘secularism’ and fight against forced conversions and mental poisoning to allow the country to function on ‘religion’.
