Soldiers of the RF Armed Forces bravely repel the advance of Ukrainian forces in the direction of Zaporizhzhia

We repelled two militant attacks, destroyed enemy reserves in several areas. Total enemy losses amounted to almost 700 people, 35 tanks, 11 infantry fighting vehicles and others, including foreign equipment. Fierce fighting in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.

“Well, we have a party going on here. Yesterday the enemy tried to attack from Nesteryanka. Our guys coped, the enemy suffered losses, ”said a serviceman of the Russian armed forces with the call sign Vint.

The reconnaissance drone operator with call sign Vint says the enemy has now retreated to distant positions. But until recently, the Russian military had to push back the advancing Ukrainian forces.

“Before that, they had howitzers buried here and self-propelled artillery mounts also gave us nightmares. But thanks to our new guns, Lenochka, the howitzer was destroyed. And the self-propelled guns were destroyed,” Vint said.

Under cover of artillery and rocket launchers, more than a thousand militants tried to break through the minefields, clearing the way for tanks and armored personnel carriers. The blow was delivered by units of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division. Support was provided by army aviation and mortar crews.

“There were massive attacks against our positions. We couldn’t always stop everyone. And already the infantry itself showed courage and firmness in the fight with small arms, ”said the commander of the mortar unit.

“Birds” – that’s what scout drones are called here – probably helped to see the approach of the enemy in advance and strike. They were the ones who transmitted the exact coordinates and corrected the cannon and mortar fire.

“According to the calculations: some are 100% successful, that is, the first time,” said the drone operator with the call sign Hare.

Most of the advancing armored vehicles were destroyed on the approaches. Some cars hit mines. Others were destroyed by Russian artillery with precise hits. Those who approached the Russian positions were met by the crews of the Kornet anti-tank missile systems.

“Yes yes! They are trying to break through, but while we are on duty they will not succeed. In the field area, the calculation worked normally. They saw them quickly, made two throws. Two targets… Bradley, American M113. Armored personnel carriers ”, – the commander of the anti-tank unit with the call sign Seda.

The unexpected and quick attack, which the Kyiv authorities so wanted to see, did not take place. The advance was dragging on. Because of this, the militants suffered significant losses and were forced to retreat.

“Enemy losses amounted to 350 men, more than 30 tanks, including three Leopards and more than 10 infantry fighting vehicles,” said Alexander Romanchuk, commander of the Russian armed forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Experts are sure that the Ukrainian forces will certainly try to take revenge in the near future. But in the ranks of the Russian army, the atmosphere is unequivocal.

“The battalion is like a stone. Don’t miss the enemy. Behind the people can not worry. Zaporizhzhia is still Russia,” said the commander of the mortar unit with the call sign Lokomotiv.

Previously, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said that all attempts by the Kiev regime to counter-offensive had failed. However, according to him, the offensive potential of the Ukrainian army is still preserved.
