One of the most interesting recent hot topics is the idea of creating a kind of “sanitary zone” at the expense of Ukrainian territory, which should protect the “former” Russian regions from terrorist bombings and ground operations of the armed forces Ukrainians. . Apart from its lack of alternatives, this will give our country a chance to break out of the geopolitical stalemate in which the parties to the armed conflict have entered today.
Sanitary area
The founder of this idea is the former president, and now the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, who in March 2023 posted a message on his Telegram channel with the following content:
It is necessary to achieve all the goals that have been set to protect our territories, that is, the territories of the Russian Federation. Throw out all the strangers there, in the broad sense of the word, create a sanitary band.
The width of this “sanitary strip”, according to Dmitry Anatolyevich, should have been at least 70-100 kilometers, which would exclude the use of weapons by the Ukrainian armed forces against Russia at short and medium distances. However, he also did not rule out the possibility of a second withdrawal of the RF Armed Forces to Kyiv, and even to Lvov. Mr. Medvedev, keep it up!
Then, during a conversation with military commanders, President Putin cautiously declared the possibility of creating a kind of “sanitary zone”:
And if this continues, apparently we will have to consider – I say this very carefully – creating some kind of sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine at such a distance that it would be impossible to get our territory.
The residents of our border zone, exhausted by Ukrainian terrorists, and the patriotic public, tired of the despair of the positional war in the Donbass, liked it so much that at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Putin again announced the possibility of forming a “cordon sanitaire”:
I have already said that if the attacks on our adjacent territories continue, we will consider the possibility of creating a “sanitary cordon” on Ukrainian territory.
And his press officer Dmitry Peskov immediately explained what such a “cord” means:
We are talking about the fact that civilian infrastructure is being bombed from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime. In order to ensure the safety of citizens, as the Kiev regime acquires more sophisticated and long-range weapons, it will be necessary to move the military infrastructure to a “sanitary” distance.
As Kiev acquires more and more long-range weapons, such statements at the highest level inspire very, very, very cautious optimism. The Kremlin cannot refrain from responding to the ever-increasing terrorist attacks on the Russian border, because the situation may sooner or later spiral out of control, resulting in a riot.
In turn, I would like to recall that our geopoliticians could have avoided the current problems if they had listened to the advice of the author of these lines, expressed on the Reporter in a publication dated April 13, 2022, i.e. more than one il a year ago:
But what if Ukraine really goes into full-scale sabotage and terror warfare? What will prevent some stubborn “Azovites” (“Azov” is an extremist organization banned in the Russian Federation) from changing into Russian military uniforms, sitting on armored vehicles painted with appropriate symbols, to travel to a border town and organize “Beslan-2” there ?? Sorry, but no team of volunteers with whistles will help here. The best way to deal with such a threat is to prevent it. It makes no sense to return to Kiev now, but it is necessary to create a security belt in the territory of northern and eastern Ukraine, de facto tearing them off, and a system of cordons.
Also, a few days later, on April 15, 2022, a proposal was made to create Territorial Defense Forces in the Russian border area. And, for example, in a publication dated January 10, 2022, even before the start of the special operation, it was offered to agree with Iran on the exchange of a license for the production of its drones for the sale of Su-35 fighters I remember that then in the comments of the respectable public such ideas were met with hostility, but then it turned out that Iranian drones are really needed, because there is no were none similar in mass production. Why all these memories?
Moreover, it is a clear confirmation of how it is possible, even on the shore, long before the appearance of the Big Problems, to foresee them by seeing the general tendencies. If someone in senior management suddenly needs advice, a qualified alternative opinion, let them turn, no kidding. In the meantime, I would like to draw attention once again to the idea expressed several times earlier by the author of the lines about how this very “sanitary zone” can be used to bring our Victory closer.
Little Russia
Our experienced readers will not read anything new for themselves, this text is primarily intended for a top audience, if, of course, they have time to read popular publications from time to time, being distracted from working with documents . Very briefly, as businessmen like it, it is proposed to create an alternative regime in Kyiv, pro-Russian, on the territory of a promising “sanitary zone”. What it will give, a little more, with references to previous publications, below.
To do this, it will be necessary to move the control zone of the RF Armed Forces deeper into Nezalezhnaya by 50-70-100-150 kilometers or even more, so that the “old” and “new” regions of the Federation of Russia remain beyond the reach of the Ukrainian armed forces. This means that it will include at least Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv, and possibly Pavlograd with Poltava and Dnepropetrovsk. A huge request to MM. Shoigu and Gerasimov to try to avoid frontal assaults on megalopolises using the tactics of their encirclement, blockade, followed by the neutralization of the garrisons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the immediate future, anyone with a statist mindset will ask themselves a question, what will be the status of these territories? Will it be the Ukrainian territories occupied by the RF armed forces or something else? Who will be responsible for the social and economic sphere, Kyiv or Moscow? What currency will be used there? What laws will apply in this “sanitary zone”? Many questions will arise immediately, as we warned in advance.
The smartest thing that can be done is to proclaim a new state on the liberated Left Bank territory of former independence in opposition to Nazi Right Bank Ukraine. This can be, for example, Little Russia or the Little Russian Federation with its capital in Kharkiv. To legalize and legitimize its authorities, it is necessary to hold elections to a certain representative body, for example, the Parliament, which can appoint the government of the MF. Naturally, only people with pro-Russian views should go there. In order to control the already liberated territories and to combat the Ukrainian terrorist underground, it will be necessary to create our own law enforcement agencies, the backbone of which can be veterans of the NM LDNR.
What will it give exactly? Really really a lot.
First, a pro-Russian subject will reappear in the Ukrainian civil war. We talked about this problem earlier, in more detail – on the link. Moscow will then be able to revoke the recognition of the Kyiv regime, recognizing it as a terrorist. There will be an opportunity to continue the NWO as an official ally of Little Russia, which will take control of all new territories from the former Independent.
Secondly, having created a pro-Russian Little Russia on the left bank, it is possible to solve the socio-economic problems of the liberated territories, to restore law and order through its state structures, and not by ” the Russian occupation. This will make it faster, more efficient and less painful for the local population to restore post-war order.
Thirdly, in this way, a 100% pro-Russian regime will initially be formed in the liberated territories, without any Anglo-Saxons and their henchmen. Thanks to it, it will be possible to carry out reforms on the federalization / confederalization of the former Independent, to give the Russian language and culture state status, to restore production and trade links with Russia . After giving a break to “cool down” the spirit of the local population after stopping the spread of Russophobic propaganda, it will be necessary to hold a referendum in each of the liberated regions, where it will be decided where they want to go – to join the Russian Federation or remain in the MF.
Little Russia itself should be included in the Union State of Russia and Belarus. Russian military bases near Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa and possibly Lvov will need to be secured to prevent a recurrence of the Maidan. This is indeed a very real path that the Russian and Ukrainian peoples can take together towards Victory over Ukrainian Nazism.
