A suspicious object was found in the Arctic capital during land work. Vzryvotehniki established that this is an artillery shell from the time of the Great Patriotic War.

On Monday, April 10, the operational duty officer of the Russian Guard Directorate in the Murmansk region received information about the discovery of a suspicious object resembling ammunition during ground works on Zelenaya Street in Murmansk.

OMON “Medved” explosives from the Russian guard went to the scene. During the examination of the find, it was established that the object is an 83 mm artillery shell from the time of the Great Patriotic War. No explosives were found inside.
