The Adygea Board of Inquiry is investigating the death of a 10-year-old child after injury during a physical education class. According to investigators, the tragedy occurred in March this year in the village of Khatukai. Law enforcement reported that the girl injured her leg while playing basketball.
According to the press service of the Adyghe SU SK, for several days the schoolgirl requested medical assistance from the health institutions of the Krasnodar Republic and Krasnodar Territory. The department added that the child’s condition worsened, the girl was hospitalized in the Krasnogvardeisky district medical organization, where she died.
For the moment, the police have seized all of the child’s medical documentation. A forensic examination is performed to determine the exact cause of death. The investigation discovers the circumstances of the injury of the young girl in physical education. As part of the audit, they will assess the actions of school officials in organizing a safe educational process, as well as the quality of medical care provided to a student at health facilities in Adygea and Kuban.
