In the Oryol region of the Uritsky district, pine seedlings were planted in the amount of 35 thousand. Tree planting was carried out within the framework of the regional program “Preservation of forests” and the national project “Ecology”. This was reported by the telegram channel “TĂ©lĂ©grammes d’Orel”.

Plans for 2023 are to increase the reforestation area in the region to 82 hectares. For this purpose, 3.2 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the program. Activities for planting oak and pine seedlings will be carried out simultaneously in several districts of the Orel region, namely in Uritsky, Kromsky, Glazunovskiy, Dmitrovsky and Mtsensk.

It should be noted that in 2022 the tree planting area amounted to 74 hectares. More than 10,000 people took part in the forest restoration campaign. As a result, approximately 80,000 trees have been planted.
