A resident of the Karelian capital showed the best result in cycling competitions as part of the Polar Olympics. The competition was held in the Murmansk region. How reported 14 cyclists from Murmansk, Severomorsk, Pechenga region and Petrozavodsk competed for the title of the strongest of the public “MU “Sports Directorate””.
They had to cover a distance of 25 kilometers on mountain bikes with big wheels – fat bikes. As a result, Natalya Ovchinnikova, who is a physical education teacher in kindergarten No. 99 in Petrozavodsk, managed to win.
“It was not easy to ride on a rather soft ski slope, you had to pedal patiently both uphill and downhill,” noted the Petrozavodsk resident and added that she was completely satisfied with the process and the ‘organization.
