In Kazan, at the age of 55, a well-known journalist, former head of the press service of the President of Tatarstan, deputy head of the republican news and mass communication agency Tatmedia Eduard Khairullin died suddenly. “Eduard Faridovich complained about his health in the morning and asked to go home to work. Later, information was received that he had left,” the Tatar-inform news agency told the Republican agency. When and where the farewell to Eduard Khairullin will take place will be announced later. Khairullin was born on January 28, 1969 in Kazan. After graduating from Kazan State University in 1993 with a degree in sociology, professor of social and political disciplines, he worked at the Efir television company, since 1996 for 10 years he worked as the head of the network of regional correspondents of the Directorate of Information Programs of the Russian public television OJSC. Then he worked as the Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Amur Region to the President and the Government of Russia. From 2010 to 2015, Eduard Khairullin was Deputy Head of the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, in 2015 he headed the Press Service of the Head of the Republic. On December 30, 2019, Khairullin was appointed deputy head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia”. In addition to his main activity, Khairullin was fond of studying the history of Kazan, he was the author of the New Tartaria channel on YouTube.
