Norwegian coriander was not allowed in the Murmansk region

They tried to import coriander from Norway to Russia in violation of the law. The products were detained at customs and returned to the adjacent territory.

On Friday, April 14, the press service of the MRU Rosselkhoznadzor of the North Sea reported that coriander from Norway is not allowed on the territory of the Murmansk region.

So, in March 2023, employees of the department, as well as customs officers from Murmansk, found that in the hand luggage transported to the region there were potted plants subject to phytosanitary control, namely coriander.

The offender was held responsible under an administrative article, the sanction imposed on him was a warning. Illegally imported plants were returned to Norway.


Recall that earlier The Eastern Herald in Murmansk said that the Vtormatic eco-point in the Arctic capital collected almost 180 kilograms of garbage in one week of work.
