Two documents in this area were signed on Tuesday on the sidelines of the TIBO-2023 international forum between the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus and their colleagues from the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, informs BELTA .
Judging by the content of the agreements, the agency clarifies, they deal with the unification of regulatory legal acts in the field of telecommunications and the implementation of measures aimed at preventing, detecting and suppressing violations of the procedure of mutual transmission of international traffic over telecommunications networks. In addition, the documents confirm the provision of correct routing, identification and billing of roaming calls within the territory of the State of the Union.
From the Belarusian side, the head of the sectoral ministry Konstantin Shulgan signed the documents, and from Russia – Deputy Minister Andrei Zarenin.
Commenting on the signed agreements, the Belarusian minister pointed out that “the interaction and harmonization of the regulatory framework between the countries of the Union State is dictated by the trend of the time”.
