The private Voronezh museum “Peter’s Ships” will open three new halls for the May holidays in 4D mode. One of the halls is designed as an assemblage in the style of Peterhof, said Sergei Naumov. Another room was called the “refectory”, here is a kitchen from the time of Peter the Great with authentic utensils – pots, pans, skimmers, the dishes were brought to Voronezh by the emperor himself. The organizers and artists of the museum have recreated the clothes corresponding to the place – a cook, a servant and two cooks will appear in old costumes. In this room, visitors will be offered hare pies, sandwiches brought to Russia by Peter the Great, and coffee brewed according to the recipe of the time.
Another room was devoted to the history of the Chizhovskaya Sloboda, where mainly archers and Cossacks lived. The largest shipyard was located here. The story of the history of Chizhovka, its famous inhabitants and their way of life will be accompanied by the background sound of a noisy 18th century square or fair with the conversations of local residents. The founder of the museum noted that to create this hall, the staff prepared interesting materials and collected mysterious legends about Voronezh.
