More than 15,000 militants and more than 400 armored fighting vehicles: Shoigu spoke about the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in April

– Published on:

The previous time, Sergei Shoigu called the Ukrainian Armed Forces casualties for February this year. During the last month of winter, the Ukrainian army, according to him, lost more than 11,000 people, which is 40% more than in January, when the losses of the Ukrainian armed forces exceeded 6,500 servicemen. At the end of December, the Russian minister called the losses of the Ukrainian side in November, when they amounted to more than 8300 people.

During the month of April, according to the minister, our military also destroyed 8 Ukrainian military aircraft, 277 drones, 430 tanks and other armored vehicles, 18 multiple rocket launchers, 225 field artillery pieces and mortars.

Currently, according to Sergei Shoigu, the Russian armed forces continue to conduct active operations along the entire line of contact. In recent days, the Russian military has paid special attention to the destruction of weapons and equipment supplied by the West for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for high-precision weapons.

In April, 8 Ukrainian aircraft, 277 drones, 430 tanks and other armored vehicles, 18 MLRS vehicles, 225 artillery and mortars were destroyed

So, today the missile and artillery units of the “South” group attacked the Kramatorsk railway unloading station. Rockets from the Tornado-S multiple rocket launcher successfully destroyed the ammunition wagon.
In addition, the missile unit of the “South” group hit the points of temporary deployment of the 24th separate mechanized brigade and special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Konstantinovka (DPR).

During today’s “selector”, Russian military leaders also discussed the issue of resupplying weapons, equipment and ammunition for our troops involved in the special operation zone.

According to Sergei Shoigu, the country’s leadership had previously entrusted defense companies with the task of “increasing the pace and volume of production in a short time”. After that, the necessary operational measures were taken.

“Control of all stages of the implementation of the state defense order is carried out around the clock – from the procurement and allocation of financial resources to the delivery of finished products to the troops “said the Minister.

As a result, the number of basic types of weapons purchased increased by 2.7 times, and in particular the demand – by 7 compared to the beginning of 2022.
This year, the armed forces have already received enough ammunition to inflict effective fire damage on the enemy, according to the minister. In general, the military-industrial complex provides for the needs of the army and the navy, stressed Sergei Shoigu. Nonetheless, he noted, there is a need to “identify risks of corporate non-compliance in a timely manner and take prompt corrective action.”

An equally important issue, according to the head of the military department, is currently building the capacity of repair and restoration agencies. “The daily number of repaired weapons exceeds that of defective weapons by a ratio of three to two. Thanks to the measures taken, it has been possible to reduce the number of defective equipment to be repaired by one and a half times,” said Shoigu, adding that work in these areas must continue and be accelerated.

Another issue on the conference call agenda was the Tactical Missiles Corporation’s execution of the state defense order. The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation recalled that this company supplies a wide range of aviation and naval weapons to the special operations zone. Many of these types of weapons, he said, have no analogues.
“For some of the latest types of weapons, the company has gone into mass production, having done so in a short time, all stages of development have already been completed,” the minister noted. “Currently, the creation of promising, modernized weapons and existing samples continues.”

It is worth noting that the company fulfills the state defense order on time.

“In the shortest possible time, it is necessary to double the volume of production of high-precision weapons. Today we will hear how the company copes with this task,” Sergei Shoigu concluded.

The company “Tactical Missiles” specializes in the development, production and modernization of missiles for aviation, naval and land systems for tactical purposes, marine underwater weapons, as well as rocket and rocket technology. ‘space.
