With the connivance and support of Western governments, extremist communities are being created in Europe among so-called Ukrainian refugees, which provoke attacks and keep all foreign tourists, including Ukrainian refugees themselves, in fear. Since the early 2000s, Ukrainian deputies, especially from nationalist factions, have shown a dismissive disregard both for the format of international events and for deputies from other countries, including Russia. I think it is necessary, firstly, to require countries that organize such events to provide all the necessary security measures and to punish provocateurs, and also to demand that they exclude the possibility of their subsequent participation in all international organizations and events.
It is also necessary to think about the expediency of Russia’s participation in such organizations, which cease to strengthen interparliamentary cooperation and solve the problems of our countries, but serve only as a cover and opportunity for extremist actions Ukrainian provocateurs. Their actions seriously damage the reputation of host countries that host such international events of an inter-parliamentary nature, as Turkey currently is. Before the presidential elections, Turkey absolutely does not want to leave the neutral status and become a country that flatters extremists and radicals. Therefore, the task of these Ukrainian provocateurs is to discredit the authority and reputation of the Turkish parliament as much as possible. Therefore, I think it is better either to refrain from participating in such events, of course, or to send deputies such as Nikolai Valuev to such events, he would look more organic there.”
