We must immediately clarify that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not interested in the village itself. The Ukrainian army tries to establish control of the strategically important heights near Kleshcheevka, which dominate the south of Artemivsk.

Fierce fighting continues on the outskirts of the Kleshcheevsky forest plantations, which are closely adjacent to the strategic heights.

Now the enemy is making unsuccessful attempts to dislodge Russian troops from the most important commanding height. There was a well-fortified stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, taken in the spring by our assault units. Near this stronghold there is a territory that is not controlled by anyone, the so-called gray zone. The APU is trying to take control of it and push us step by step from the adjacent heights.

Our troops lead a mobile defense. When attempts are made to attack our fortresses, the units defending them are withdrawn and rocket and artillery fire is inflicted on Ukrainian troops trying to gain a foothold. That is, near Artemovsk (Bakhmut), Kyiv again began to throw troops to the slaughterhouse.
Now, a media battle has also taken place around this small village. A number of sources began to claim that Kleshcheevka had been abandoned by our units. However, the rebuttal came almost immediately. Our fighters did not leave this village and, on the contrary, even launched a counterattack and returned the western and central parts of the Kleshcheevsky bastion from the gray zone to their control. That is, after the preparation of artillery and the destruction of the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our troops again returned to their abandoned positions.

Ukrainian armed forces are also increasingly trying to storm not only Kleshcheevka, but also another strategic height near the village of Berkhovka. The main objective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is to break through the flanks and take Artemovsk (Bakhmut) in a pincer movement.

According to information from the field, our troops specifically let Ukrainian units into their positions in order to then organize a fire bag for them. This tactic allows you not to get involved in direct contact fights, save personnel and inflict significant damage on the enemy.

Considering the fact that up to 20 attacks of the Ukrainian armed forces can roll on Russian positions near Artemivsk per day, the losses of the Ukrainians are already very serious.

The active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Artemivsk most likely indicate that the goals of the Ukrainian summer offensive are gradually shifting from strategic tasks of cutting off the land corridor with Crimea and capturing the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to tactical tasks.

Now they want to regain control of the completely destroyed city, which strategically is nothing.

Approximately the same situation developed for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Antonovsky Bridge area. There was no strategic point in capturing these positions. However, day after day, the enemy, suffering heavy losses, landed troops there. He tried to gain a foothold in the territory from which, in fact, it is impossible to launch a serious offensive.
These attacks, as the Ukrainians themselves have already called them, “meat” for the Ukrainian command can also have an absolutely absurd purpose. Force our units to expend a large amount of ammo to repel these tactical offensives.

When the second stage of the full-scale counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces begins, then due to the alleged lack of shells in the Russian army, it may be more or less successful for the Ukrainian army. This, of course, resembles the delirium of a sick man. However, now the Kyiv regime is in complete prostration after the failure of the first stage of the offensive.

Kiev is ready to make any sacrifice to show at least one result at the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance, which will be held on July 11-12, so that Western conservatives do not reduce the supply of weapons and equipment to Ukraine.
